I think it's hilarious too. Particularly the fact that the existing UKIP candidate for Clacton is so upset he will stand against tory boy. So there will be two UKIP candidates and a Tory candidate to share 22000 votes and Labour will get 14000.

I do hope that Labour win. I don't support Labour but if politicians are are focussed on screwing each other up they tend to leave the country well alone.

UKIP's other candidate has been stood down.

......yes but he is in denial.

“I’ve been through dangerous situations in Pakistan and South America, and you negotiate them: I’ve had a 16-year-old shove a machine gun up my nose in Nicaragua. I’ve faced bigger threats from real killers, and if they think they can walk up to me and push me then I’ll push back. I’ve never run away from anything.”

Bless his touching naivety - that's a picnic compared to British politics.

I wonder when someone will start the Let's be Grown Ups Party.

The outcome of the next election will not be a UKIP victory. Nor, probably, a Tory one. But I wonder, really, if it matters all that much.

Don't misunderstand me. Of course it is important. But when the three class buffoons are up for election for Head Boy, the outcome will be a buffoon as Head Boy, and which one it is comes down to very unimportant, subjective, opinions.
