    From what I've seen, I think it is... the Turkish people have woken up to their government forcing Islamist values on them. The Turks have balls - watch that space.

    Excuse my cynicism but surely this is just the next stop on the BBC and Sky news travel through the world focusing on yet another bombed out street in another country each year in the summer.

    Anyone notice there is never, ever, a news item on Libya these days on the news? Of course not, the cameras have moved on and the smartarse reporters are regurgitating their same trivial nonsense each night at their new venue..the problem is that its TV for the masses.

    Very few people in the UK apart from nationals of the countries concerned actually care about any of these countries but we so love the shaky camerawork...and those jingly catchphrases...the latest being 'Turkish Spring'.
