    Multiple accounts:

Naturally, there will be a few members here who run two or more businesses and they will find it necessary to establish more than one account for branding purposes.

    • In the interests transparency, multiple accounts are 'loosely discouraged'. However, we do support multiple accounts for different businesses and/or departments within as we understand the branding issues involved and the genuine need for separation. This, however, is limited to a maximum of three members per business and/or IP address.

    • What we will discourage though is the practice of posting under one UserID then replying with another in order to promote and/or 'bump' either party.

Ghostwriters / Third Party / PR Agencies / SEO Link-Building Accounts:

    • It is against forum policy for free members to create accounts on behalf of third parties or their clients and then to post, blog, add profile information/links or generally interact on the forum on their behalf (ghostwriting)*. This includes individuals/agencies who post under their own name but link to their clients' websites as part of SEO link building and promotional/PR services.

If you are joining and/or interacting here on behalf of a client or third party you are required to upgrade to Premium Member.

    • If you are an agency creating an account for your client to eventually use themselves, or intend to use the forum on behalf of a client please either let us know in advance or sign up to Premium Membership immediately as any suspect accounts are usually suspended and/or deleted without notice.

The reasons for the above policy are as follows:

    • It discourages third party SEO link spamming.
    • It guards against the abuse of intellectual property.
    • It discourages attempts to create 'negative SEO campaigns' against an entity.
    • Most importantly, it encourages business owners to operate their accounts directly and engage fairly and 'in person' on the forum.

    * The ONLY exceptions are when the account becomes and remains a Premium Member or if they elect to sponsor a sub-forum.

Accounts found in contravention of the above will be temporarily suspended without warning and content selectively removed. During the suspension, the account owner should contact us to notify that they wish to upgrade. If the account is not upgraded within seven days it will be deleted or suspended indefinitely.

Note: If you are a ghostwriter and/or create content and backlinks for your clients for SEO purposes as a profession you're more than welcome here. Just don't do it here (without the appropriate membership level)!

    :)
