    Hi

I have an idea for a business venture that has hardly any competiton in the UK.
What I need is a site that allows mini shops etc to sell on there, a bit like Etsy (I'm not looking to create an Etsy - totally different idea) but people would need to be able to advertise their goods on there.

Any ideas people as I can't seem to find a template?

    thanks

Nothing comes to my mind off the top of my head, unfortunately.
It sounds to me like it is a tailored solution you need, rather than just a template - but I might be wrong.:banghead:

It does sound like you need something bespoke from your description but have you looked at Magento? We have lots of customers using it and might do the job. You can use it for free and is owned by ebay.

The following tips will be useful to choose the proper template to your website
    1. Determine exactly what kind of website you need
    2. Choose the template you need but not the one you just visually like
    3. A good template should be customizable and flexible technically
    4. Pay attention to the seller and inquire about customer support
    5. Keep your eye on the big picture
    6. Don’t be in a hurry and don’t be a Scrooge
