PPC - How to tell which ads I run convert into sales?

I'm quite new to PPC and i'm currently running a campaign at present. My question is how to I track which of my ads produce a goal completion? Can I trace back, using the goal funnel, to which ad brought a user to my website who then went to complete a goal I have set up on Google analytics?

I suppose it'll depend on which tracking software you're using but you should be able to with most of them.

I have enabled auto tagging on Google adwords, but I cant find a path showing this ad was responsible for this conversion/goal. Have I set my campaign up incorrectly?
