Exclamation Driving school

I have set up a driving school at the beginning of the year. It's been going pretty well and business is growing slowly but surely. Does anyone have any ideas on how to generate new business with minimal cost. I have a web site and an ad on google ad words. Is there anything else I can do on the net. And how do I know if linking my site is actually working? Any advise would be gratefully accepted. Thanks

We have two customers that run driving schools, and do carry out some online marketing for them.

This does bring them some work, but the biggest source of work for both of them is people who pass enlisting all their friends as customers too! I think they offer some kind of voucher for this.

Thanks Paul. Hopefully that will happen naturally as people pass their tests. It really is a word of mouth business so the big challenge is getting a customer base that can pass my name on. Thanks for your input.

Do you have a twitter account? If not, why not?!

Facebook?

On Twitter/Facebook, talk about driving/driver instruction and frequently mention your specific area.

Did you know that the search engines constantly index topics here at UKBL? How about writing a blog or article every now and then? It's free and helps with your SEO.

There's also a Road Users forum here. Niche?

As mark said social things like twitter and facebook could be a real push for you, interacting with local people , making your business known and generally putting the idea in peoples head that you are there.

There are also plenty of "local forums" i.e if you lived in Sheffield you might want to the Sheffield forum which has thousands of local people talking about various things, dont sign up to promote your business, sign up to contribute to the community and get involved with your website link in the signature. Be helpful and get along with everyone and you would be surprised the amount of people that remember you when they need to.

Thanks a million Mark and Adam. I have a facebook page but I'm not really sur on the best way of using it. I have been posting pictures of my business cards and leaflets every so often. I've aalo put up some special offers but I haven't had anybody contact me and mention they seen my business on facebook. I have never been on twitter so will have to look into that. And local forums is a great idea. I had originally joined forums to create links to my site but I have been blown away by all the info and ideas that can be obtained by participating. Thanks for everything.

Capturing your facebook and twitter audiences you should look at how other successful marking campaigns work , they dont just promote their business like your doing , they post about the community in general , they interact with their local user base, local radio facebook and twitter pages, local newspapers and newsletters etc. There are so many ways to interact with your local community it really can set your business apart from the rest.

Get your facebook friends to like your page, ask them to ask their friends to like it. Interact with them , promote your page on facebook ads for your local area and see if you can get people to like it. Once you have an audience its then your job to keep them interested even if they are not using your service if you plant the seed then they will remember you.

Premiership Driving should post more often!
Default Driving School

Hi setting up a driving school in this day and age is very difficult, especially in this competitive market with so many independent ADI's on the road undercutting each other it is hard, however it is not impossible there are several key factors that I believe are important for an ADI to have, you need to be an excellent ADI, those ADI's who are, will tend to have a full diary and charge the going rate for lessons. You need to be up to date with all the social media. You need a distinctive brand and an name and most importantly you need to be unique. We believe that we have covered all the angles for a successful driving school judge for your shelves at Premiership Driving You can like us, follow us and watch us, using Facebook, twitter and YouTube.

Let us know what you think of premiership driving, how and if we can improve, the benefits of premiership driving, the disadvantages of premiership driving happy viewing

Thanks
