"Raise Funds - Release Potential - Retain Control - Rest Easy" for my Invoice Fianance and Factorig brokerage side.

What do people make of these?

I think straplines and jingles are all very important to any business. Don't know how many times I have listened to the radio and walked away singing the jingles. That is exactly what the company wanted me to do.

My worst case of this is that 118 247 give us a call its directory heaven jingle. Hated it at first but have grown to like it.

I tend to find that listing to jingles or songs related to a product you start to associate them together. So your in the pub and a song comes on, all of a sudden you are thinking of Kwick Fit or something.

Whats your thoughts? any experiences of the above?

I'd love a pound for every time I heard someone say "it does exactly what it says on the tin" in normal conversation, particularly when not even referring to a tin. I am sure I would be rich by now..

Ours is "Cleaning and hygiene products that don't cost the earth" its a bit on the wordy side but it does exactly what it says on the tin.

I'm not sure when and how it was brought into being but it's been around since the early 80's, that's even older than me.
