Default automatic social bookmarking

Do you prefer manually bookmarking your sites/blogs in social bookmarking sites or do you use a tool like socialmarker.com in your submission?

While Social marker has it's place, it's seen as somewhat of a spammy tool.

I do everything by hand, like Mark - but then again I haven't really checked Social Marker out properly....

I'm also wondering that it's somewhat a spammy tool because it lets you submit your links for more than 50 social bookmarking sites for just one submission. That's why I still prefer doing social bookmarking manually.

There's no need to spam anywhere, SEs forums, etc.
Best way to approach is to pick the top 5 and manually submit to those.

It is actually quite a useful tool. What it is most like is 'lining up' the social bookmarking sites that you use, so that you can do one then scroll to the next. You have to be a member of them anyway, and many have different conventions for tags, different lengths for the description, etc. so it isn't so much automatic, as a bit quicker. The process is still manual to a large extent.

I use it, but still only for a handful of sites.
