I have recently been in touch with a company called " Handepay Merchant Services" to get costings of accepting payments through a mobile machine for show fairs and Ecomm for my online shop.....
Now I have been doing my research for quite a while and I found that they are not only cheaper than the banks direct but cheaper than any other independant......
I have explained to the Sales Executive that this could be of interest to you all and he has given me the go ahead to give out his details.
Handepay are an independant company that have approached "Streamline" which are part of Natwest and have got a cracking deal on rates to go out and get Streamline business....This,as I found out actually made them cheaper than Streamline direct!!
As a new customer they do not charge any set up fees,they have low Minimum Service charges and their rates and terminals were very resonable.
As for Ecomm, you have the choice of £90 set up fee and no Minimum Monthly Fees or No set up fee and £10 Minimum Monthly Fees. They recommend a Payment gateway called Protx which I set up myself and then you get a merchant number from Streamline and away you go.
I bank with Bank Of Scotland and my funds are cleared within 3 working days.
