Default A summary

Of course...
The article talks about 8 main points of consideration.
1. Cloud computing; talking about how the new cloud formation of IT infrastructure is disrupting more traditional models
2. Quality assurance and Information Security; the bars are raised as IT vendors must ensure that products and services are fit for purpose and right first time
3. High Pressure IT; IT is under scrutiny and needs to be delivered without mistakes in the global market of major media, sporting and cultural events
4. Retained Organisations; discusses outsourcing and the pitfalls of negotiating in haste
5. Fixing BPO; talks about how IT vendors need to get a stake in this growing arena or risk missing out.
6. Waste not want not; covers the inevitable need to use people and resources efficiently and rationalise IT infrastructure even in these economic climes
7. Enterprise 2.0;Essentially, Enterprise 2.0 is about enabling stakeholders to affect services and offerings and achieve more meaningful business-driven interactions between people and systems through community collaboration, sharing and "debating" of ideas, concepts, services and products
8. Economic Flux talks about how things will turn around and that ISV's shouldnt tie themselves up in unworkable contracts.
