Default Ruckus Wireless

I'm coming across more and more people talking about Ruckus Wireless, curious about whether anyone has any firsthand experience of this smart Wi-Fi malarkey- is it all smoke and mirrors or does it genuinely do the business?

Surely being a Ruckus accredited partner you shouldn't be asking us about this?

If I’m honest with you Carl, some of my colleagues have been selling it into education, however I personally am yet to start pushing it as I’m not convinced as to the viability of it within businesses so I'm keen to get feedback from private sector user's who have some firsthand experience of it- research rather than pitching for a change!

I'm trying to add a Ruckus wireless point to point setup into an exsisting wired network. I have a Westell E90 DSL modem from Verizon, a Dynex 4 port hub. One of the computers is hard wired off the hub, one is coming off the ethernet port of the "slave" of the ruckus network, and the other is pulling an ip wirelessly off of the "master" Ruckus. It'll work for a while, then the hard wired desktop will lose connentivity.

Not too sure if i'm honest Devkant, I've only ever utilised Ruckus AP's from the Ruckus Zonedirectors so haven't experienced any cross compatibility issues. Only thing I would suggest is try having a word with the Ruckus support team, though with it not being all their kit I don't know how helpfull they'll be for you...
