Looks a bit odd, unbalanced and typical, prefer the old logo.
- McDonalds are apparently going Green in a rebrand (i've yet to see any
graphics)
- Sage have rebranded
- The Co-op rebrand

Clumsy
Looks like the designer slipped when cutting the shape away.
It's too clumsy looking for me.

Like Amanda said it looks clumsy, the curve doesn't work.
I can see what they are trying to do but its really not very successful, any ideas what design company produced it?

hmmmm.......... I don't really like it. Like was said above, it looks unbalanced. The old logo had a feeling of yin and yang to it, but the new is well............. meh!

It's not really rebranded is it? Just dragged the lines in a few different places!

I'm not keen on it. It reminds me of the squint smile of would-be Apprentice, Kate, talking into her mobile phone.

I've just spotted this in the latest issue of Private Eye in Pseuds corner:

The Pepsi DNA finds its origins in the dynamic of perimeter oscillations.

That's exactly what I thought when I first saw it.

Im not to keen on it neither. and Mark thats amazing!. Also the whole Mcdonalds thing, i dont agree with changing logo's that have been around for so long personally. -They should stick to keeping the same branding.

PepsiCo today said it will pour some $1.2 billion over three years into a push that will include sweeping changes to its brands, including what Chairman-CEO Indra Nooyi characterized as a revamp of “every aspect of the brand proposition for our key [carbonated soft drink] brands. How they look, how they’re packaged, how they will be merchandised on the shelves, and how they connect with consumers.”
“Tropicana will also be differentiated, enabling us to re-engage consumers with this iconic brand.”
“We’re initiating similar upgrades for the entire Gatorade line, which will have an entirely new contemporary identity, and there will be exciting innovations for both G2 and Tiger and a renewed Propel platform.”
