Default Air Travel Social Group

I've just started a new group, with a view to hopefully getting to 30 + members so we can have a own forum.

UK Business Labs - The UK Business Forum - Air Travel

Had a good / bad / in-different experience with a particular airline / airport ?

Been delayed by the Ash ? - how where you treated - did the airline remain proactive, or did you have to push for info?

I've started the Ball rolling - please do come and join us - even if it's just to have a good rant and get it out of your system!

Thanks

Roy

I've joined your group and posted. But I can tell you from experience you'll need to do more than ask people to join your group if you're trying to get 30+ members.

I succeeded (domaining forum) by asking people to join our grope. What can you offer?

The odd suggestion/plugs in threads is absolutely fine but no unsolicited PMs! Not that you would do that of course, Roy. Yes, it's deliberately 'hard' to get 30 members initially as it's a test of the Group leader's commitment and of the interest in the group. Well worth it though when your forum's live.

Emma / Kay - thanks for the support and comments.

I am an optimist so like to think it's going to be easy - but understand some graft is going to be needed to build the group and have no issue with the 30 member barrier or the need to grow organically rather than by badgering!

I guess the best thing to think about offering is good sound advice for people - i.e things that might make air travel more appealing and less troublesome.

My own interest is to gauge trends an views from the travelling public as to how they perceive air travel - because being inside the industry tends to change your prospective.

Thanks

Roy
