There's been some confusion recently over whether members can post articles with links to their sites in the 'Business Talk' section.
Of course you can!
That said, this section is really designed for people to
ask questions of other members and to engage in normal business discussion. No links in your post (less your sig) is preferred but providing that the article imparts useful information to the reader, the odd link in a post is tolerated. However, if your thread comes across as deliberate and 'spammy' (or is repeated on a regular basis), then your potential clients will just get turned-off anyway, so it's
your call. If you're a
Full Member, the worst that can happen is that it will just be moved to the designated advertising areas.
As the threads here will go back to the top when someone else posts, it actually makes sense to
engage people and get talking to them, rather than hiding away in the Blogs section.
Outright advertising, promotional material, Offers and 'requests for review' of your product or service should go in the designated marketplace areas: 'Services Offered', 'Services Wanted', 'Press Releases' and 'Events'. Note that all members can reply to your post in 'Services Offered', providing you don't lock the thread.
You are free to
reply to a thread with a link to your site
if the conversation
develops into a request for services by the original poster (OP).
Remember, UK Business Labs is designed to help you get the most out of a business forum but it relies on
consideration for others.

Full Membership enables full-on advertising in the appropriate areas!
Hope this clears things up a little,
