Surely if you go for a job where the uniform is a kilt then you know in advance you'd be wearing it? Therefore if the answer to the question is no, then you shouldn't have applied for the job in the first place?
LOL! I liked the black one but I really couldn't imagine people wearing the hi-vis yellow one somehow.
BTW, I'm Scottish and would have thought that lots of my proud countrymen would like to wear the workwear kilt. Perhaps they're not aware of it. Are you running any offline campaigns? Any chance of getting yourself in the newspapers? The Sunday Post (a very stupid newspaper) would have a field day with this one - but it's all publicity for you.
How about getting someone to pose as a tradesman and parade about the local High Street wearing one? (Would probably only work in Scotland.)
Also, think about the Irish market. The Irish wear kilts too. The difference between them is that the Scots have tartan kilts and the Irish have plain colours, so your workwear kilt is actually more like a traditional Irish kilt.
The kilt was designed by a Swedish student in response to a request by a company called Skanska for a cool summer garment for thier road builders in Sweden
My husband is English but he prefers to wear a kilt for formal "do"s. He also wears it at New Year. I think men look great in kilts! Cor, just imagine a building site full of guys wearing kilts. Yeah!
An Englishman who wants to wear a kilt?! I've never worn one. I can see how they workwear ones would be good if you did want to wear one on a worksite.
