Essentially, google gave unwarranted access to a small percentage of users' docs and spreadsheets.

I understand and agree in principle to 'the cloud' but simply it aint for me.

My daughter only keeps her photos on Facebook.

I certainly wouldn't have the only copy of anywhere. I've already lost access to a whole pile of photo that were on Google's Picassa. My ISP went bust & I lost access to the e-mail address that was used to set up the account. I changed the password on the account, & it stopped working. I can't use the e-mail address to reset the password. Google don't reply to my e-mails after the 1st one where they said that they couldn't help me.

As for facebook it was funy how they tried to take everyone`s data by changing terms and conditions and after they got caught and everyone objected they tried to spin it like it was a misunderstanding.
