Herbal Life does anybody have any real experience with this?

Scam or good business opportunity?


1.Has anybody physically tryed there products whilst trying to lose weight has it worked for you?
2.I know it works by you starting off selling yourself but you can recruit then take a percentage of other peoples sales bit like a pyramid scheme.


I have read a few things saying it is a scam and alot saying its good, i think the people maybe saying scam either it didn't work for them personally or using it for people to take as face value on what they say to push there own products

Hi TRD,

I have used Herbalife for weight loss and fitness for a number of years and am very happy with it. In fact, the product has been around over 30 years and the basic idea of suppressing appetite by using protein supplements is not really controversial.

In terms of the sales method, it certainly isn't for everyone, but I don't think it's quite the same as a pyramid scheme. I know a several distributors, many of which have made very successful businesses and, in some cases, have gone on to work with elite athletes.

A friend of mine is a big fan of Herbalife products. She says they work really well on her and to be honest she seems to keep in shape very easily but as a business opportunity it a complete scam. All they are doing is trying to sell you stuff. I would not advise anyone to count on that as a business opportunity.
