I am in the process of building a website for AV8Services.

www.av8services.com

One thing that I wish to include is examples of some of the work that I've done for clients by way of pdf files.

Comments, observations, criticisms welcomed, I feel reasonably happy that I have solid foundations but in today's competitive marketplace want to be spot on.

A quick glance shows a clean and practical site.

Why PDFs? Just personal preference but I'd rather have a page per example, with the option to d/l a PDF if I want (I don't like PDFs on websites). Plus having pages rather than PDFs is better for SEO

Thanks Nikki - I like the idea of a d/l pdf married with a visible version and if it helps my SEO all the better.

Will read your article(s) as SEO is something that I want to at least grasp the fundamentals of and then perhaps talk / get quotes etc.

It was a config issue, the tech support guys at Clikpic.com (hosting and site templates) reviewed my settings and found the problem.

Hi,

It's a nice clean site. I'd agree that the case studies for the 'previous client' examples on the home page should be 'onsite' rather than PDF's (though no reason you can't put a PDF icon on each case study page as well, with the text "click here to download this case study in PDF format for easier printing" or something similar).

hi, looks like a nice site, not all of your pictures are labelled (the cheese drop ones) and a little blurb about each event would make them more engaging. The examples of work done will add a lot to the site.
