Default Personalised Gifts - feedback

Hi guys,
I've had a play around with my website, new layouts, new pictures, new t's & c's and more in the about me section - also a few new categories as well. I have also changed the colour scheme so just wanted to gather some thoughts.

Hello,

Nice clean layout though I'm not sure about the olive green colour you've used. Also your images could do with being a bit more professional looking. Throughout your website your font seems to change size (and colour) slightly and one blog post is all in bold.

Some observations from me:

I think the logo should be smaller and maybe the font shouldn't be so 'rough' looking.

The site doesn't fit within a 1024px width window.

The photography is ok but could be improved a little with some better lighting.

Do you offer a discount code for liking your Facebook Page? Might be an idea?

The 'Craft Sales' link should open in a new window and perhaps be less prominent (don't give potential customers any excuse to leave your site!).

How about a photo of your good self and/or your team in 'About'?

Agree with Mark - The main header logo ran over on my screen and it looked kind of pixelated.

You defo need a personal photo of you and your team. No chance of getting money off people without showing a human face.

No events on the events page and a links page is kinda old hat.

Drop these 2 and the top nav wont appear so cluttered.

I disagree with the others. The design is fine for now. IYour target market won't be too bothered about it. It's easy for webmasters to obsess over the design and layout.

The concept looks good, I don't know about the size of the market though. I trust that you've done market research for the personalised signs business. Run a PPC/adwords campaign, test that the website converts. You can change the design later, but so far I think you've done a pretty good job.

Logo needs some work - too wide, it doesn't need to fill the width of the site.

I like the olive green - something different and I don't think the photos are too bad. I'm not sure how would be better as I think they show the products in good detail?

Nice point - no point have a whizz bang site if there is no market. No seo terms jump out that the site would want ranking for either.
