Facebook Fan Pages - UK Business Labs

Hi Guys
Was on another forum tonight (I know I should be working!) and they were sharing their Facebook fan pages. Reminded me that my page was well out of date so I have re-created it tonight. Any of you want to become fans for me and I will return the favour.

Do you mean how do you set one up? I was going to PM you and suggest this might be suitable for you.

At the very bottom left of any Business page is a link that says "create a page for my business" after that it is pretty much like setting up a normal page.

Yes. My IE was playing up so your link didn't seem to work which is why I put it on again - then that didn't work and I knew something was afoot.

In good old firefox both work fine.

I realized I had set a page up at http://tinyurl.com/mnxb4n

It isn't as professional as yours though - my homework for the weekend

My page is not professional, lol but thank you. I have been at it all evening, freeindex, facebook, forums etc. Still need to sort my Twitter back ground out but am running out of steam!

Sorry to bring this one back from the dead, but in my naivety, I didn't even know there was a business page option on Facebook.

We'd already created a group for Docmail users, but thanks to the above, I've started on a "Docmail - Print and Mail" page.

If you have a Page it's worth setting up a unique URL...much better for publishing and it helps people find your Page. Mine is Intranet Future | Facebook

Looks OK and a time saver that they group these services together. However, it appears there is nothing that you couldn't do for free and that way you can pick and choose what services you want too.

Here's a tip for publicising your Facebook Page...

If you own a Facebook Page for your business use the Share Button (bottom left) to remind your Facebook friends (personal friends) of your business. I suggest you use it once a month and give them a reason to visit your site eg a special offer or a special tip.
