Default Monetizing my site

I own a domain that is on page one of yahoo for the search terms

"money saving" and "saving money" popular terms at the moment.

I need advice on how to better monetize this site.

Cashback money - saving money online - money cashback

I think you have a nice niche market there to earn lots of money via affiliate networks. You could try promoting different financial advice books, courses, trainings and similar. Just Google it, there's lots of affiliate programs in your niche.

You certainly do have an oppurtunity to profit, but one thing i would be cautiouse of is within your script in the background, you have duplicated title tags, not good with search engines once they find out, also your verify meta tag is duplicated x 3 if the search engines decide they are going to peanilse you for these couple of eassily fixed isseus you could be facing a problem if your promoting or listing paying customers.

Just a couple of quick things i noticed.

But just as Toni said you do have a good Niche oppurtunity, and good luck with it.

If you require Roller banners or pop up stands that you could arrange to place within high traffic areas such as shopping centres etc, activly promoting the site giving you a USP over your competition then A3M designs can look to provide these for you.

Regards

Steve

Sign up to an affiliate middle man like ClickBank or Pepperjam and see what they have that you can promote.

Also, why don't you got for both US and UK markets, then when you get good traffic from both you can split your site. That way you are casting your net far and wide. Try commissionjunction.com for both US and UK advertisers.

CJ are well known as being cheats. There was a class action lawsuit brought against them last year for cheating both their merchants and publishers. They agreed to settle out of court.

I've not been keeping up on the issue so I don't know what happened next. But I sure as hell wouldn't trust them.

There are plenty of good affiliate networks around.

Default Affiliate recommendation please?

Thanks for that warning Kay, I had no idea. Can you recommend an alternative affiliate marketer for US ads?

I use ShareASale.com. I don't particularly like their user interface but at least I've never heard of them cheating anyone.

Buy.at is UK/European based but I think they're moving into the US market.

Maybe it's worth looking at some of the websites which have reviews of the various affiliate offerings. The trouble with that, though, is the webmaster may well be making commission by 'recommending' stuff. At least on a forum like UKBL you're getting honest opinions from people who actually use these things.

Re CJ's shenanigans, you can see my ancient little site about them at CJ Sucks!.

I've had a client ask a similar question, as they had adsense on some pages and were making very little when compraing with others with similar traffic.

I'll get them to check out the recommendations on this thread

You should look into Google Adsense. There are a variety of ways you can display Google Ads.

Hope this helps.
