mamut has a webshop facility - does anyone have any experience of it - I have become a reseller (but mainly for the accounts stuff) and the webshop looks good, but comments would be useful.

Personally these kind of solutions are not to my taste at all, aside from the fact I prefer to design with the free open source carts that is not my issue with these and similar products.

Havine ported a few customers from such solutions, the difficulty in moving away is immense, so when you outgrow these offerings you are still stuck there, no method of exporting customer databases, sales reports, product databases etc apart from in the best cases and incredibly simplistic and near useless CSV

So I would always reccomend open source over commercial everytime!

... that I reckon that for many clients buying a suitable version of this accounts system is the cheapest and quickest way of providing them with an e-commerce solution!

OK, the look and feel is pretty vanilla and only a fairly limited of webpage alteration is possible.

The convenience factor is enormous.

• Set up the Stock List for your Accounts (you have to include more detail - like the photo and text for the web entry);
• Activate the automatic web link and adjust look and feel as required;
• Voila! As sales occur, they are automatically recorded in your Accounts.
