.co.uk suspended and expired (when can i pinch it from them)?

I have found a great .co.uk domain that was owned by a LTD company that has dissolved.

Their domain has expired as seen below.

Renewal date: 11-Oct-2009
Last updated: 11-Dec-2007

Registration status:
Renewal required.
*** This registration has been SUSPENDED. ***

How long will it be untill I can registor it in our businesses name, and what method is best.

60 days after the beginning of the suspension period which starts 30 days after the expiry date so this one would be available at 00:00:01 on 9th January 2010.

Be aware that if you purchase a domain in this way (the official line at least) is that you wont get credit for the existing links.

I had my KipFX.com on another account with somebody that turned me over, luckily when the domain came back up I snatched it, I had been checking periodically, and links were in place! Happy Days!

Adam, please can you explain to me how gertrude works ?

Well not in detail I can't no but suffice to say it checks domains expiry dates, calculates date it would be available, etc.
