Exclamation UKBL Directory Structure for Trades?

We're shortly going to need to add a UKBL Business Directory structure for things like plumbing, heating, plasterers, etc etc etc.

What directory heading(s) do you suggest these should be under?

Remember, we want to be all-encompassing in the directory but not so verbose that it gets unmanageable or hard to find people.

No, sorry. We mean what sub-headings to add in to the existing directory.

I have built (and sold) loads of portals/disrectories. tgetting the taxonomy right is the hardest part. get it wrong from the start and you pay a heavy price later.

The easiest way to work this out is to work out how information will be accessed. ie will people be looking for services as the main drive, or area ie geo or service driven.

Hmm. Perhaps I wasn't too clear.

Where we already have...

Accountancy & Administrative
Accountancy, bookkeeping and & administrative services
Accountants, Auditing, Bookkeeping, Personal & Virtual Assistants, VAT & Taxation Services

How should we cater for trades like plumbers, decorators etc? What Headings and sub-headings should we have?

How would you like to see it laid out?

You could call it 'Home Services' which would encompass all household services. Then add sub-categories for plumbers etc.

Rudimentary structure for trades now added. We'll tweak as we go with your suggestions.

I suppose they can be all three; domestic, commercial and industrial but I'm sure there are industrial-specific categories we can add. No rush.
