Banner advertising can bring prospective customers directly to your business, products or services in just one click. The assumption that your clients will automatically find your site - just because it's there - is dangerous thinking.
A prominent banner ad is an extremely cost-effective method of driving customers and sales to your website.
"But what if nobody clicks on my banner?"... Well, even if they don't, all the while your banner is running you're building
brand awareness through repeated exposure. As a
promotional and branding tool, banner ads are priceless.
• There are five positions on the forum that you can purchase to display banners to promote your business or venture. The five positions are shown throughout the entire forum.
• Each banner submitted is set in rotation.
• You are welcome to purchase advertising in just one position - or as many as you wish.
• Banners are not exclusive to Full Members - you can book them regardless of your membership status. You can also change the artwork at any time, subject to a minimum of two working days notice. However, changes can normally be made the same day.
• Image types accepted are; .jpeg, .gif, .png and Flash. It is politely requested that all animated banners are kept to the smallest file size possible and that consideration is given to members who may have photo-sensitive epilepsy.
• Administrative staff reserve the right to refuse advertising that competes directly with UK Business Labs. We also reserve the right to refuse images - please keep it tasteful!
• The first five positions are reserved for small businesses, entrepreneurs, start-ups, charities or any of those we've watched grow BIG with us!!! A further commitment to UK Small Businesses by UK Business Labs. 
• Position six is allocated for advertising by large enterprises, nationals and PLCs. Where possible, we will always endeavor to select UK companies or those with origins in or strong ties with the UK. Please contact us if you wish to book this position.

Exclusive slots:
Subject to existing/scheduled bookings you may reserve a slot for your banner
exclusively. Please contact for exclusive rates.
Min / Max Bookings:
Minimum booking is 30 days. Maximum booking is 180 days (approx six months) to secure rates at the time of booking. The Admin reserves the right to change pricing at any time but rates are formally reviewed every quarter (End Mar, Jun, Sep, Dec).
Unlike other sites there is no 'cost per thousand' (CPM) impressions, pay-per-click (PPC) or delivery limits; all of which can cost you several hundred pounds or more per month. At UKBL, once your banner is up, it's up - which could amount to tens of thousands of impressions every month with absolutely no limit!
Artwork:
File sizes for banners should be kept to a minimum and ideally no larger than 150Kb. Don't have a banner? For a small outlay, we can fix that. There are also a fair few graphic designers who are members here and they would appreciate your custom.
