I use Vista, and I have to say that while it is great, over 50% of the isues I get are incompatibility issues between it and IE.
I have everything set up to auto update, I have absolutely no dodgy software like p2p, or wors pirate software, on this machine, and it oes give me far more issues than my xp pro machines.
One of my HUGE gripes with vista is the DRM crap that is on there. It is to the point that if i place a DRM protected disk into a drive it will not allow me to do anything as all my drives are writers. So i can't watch a disney movie on a seriously expensive machine with a very expensive monitor on.
OK my final verdict is that how good it is outweighs how bad it is performance wise, but PURELY for the DRM crap, I hate it. I don't see why watching a movie should be disallowed because the drive is a writer? (which I assume is the reason)
