Although I did have a number of compatibility issues when we first adopted Vista (Jan/Feb 2007) we are now running very smoothly, and it has made wireless file share and printing a breeze. I used to find under XP that the connections would periodically get lost, and I'd keep having to set them up again, although I agree that XP is fine otherwise, and very stable.
