I have to agree. I was one of the first in the UK to get a Windows NT 4.0 system, and where others were complaining about reliability, my system was as solid as a rock. It wasn't cheap, but I only had 2 BSODs with it (one caused by a dodgy driver, the other by a loose cable). You usually get what you pay for.
Am I allowed to mention Macs so soon?
There was a learning curve, but not too steep, and I've been very happy with the decision to switch.
