I'm a Virgin Media Customer going back to when it was Telewest/Blueyonder. You can't really get a better service.
They do have a very strange way of running their business. If you phone them and tell them you are thinking of leaving them, they give you more (i.e. up your package) and charge you less. Very strange but certainly worth the call.
Can't remember ever having down time to be honest in the 7 years I have been with them.
